Conveyancing Foundation’s ‘Share the Love’ Campaign

The Conveyancing Foundation is a zero-profit registered charity whose purpose is to enhance the lives of those in the conveyancing industry and to support charity fundraising initiatives.

The Foundation are proud to support National Conveyancing Week with our #sharethelove campaign as part of our Be Kind We Care initiative. Being grateful and kind can have a tremendous impact on you and those around you.

We all have the ability and opportunity to cultivate gratitude.

Say thank you or something kind to those that you come into contact with today – and every day.

Share the love.

Throughout our video you will see two photos of individuals – one before we paid them a compliment – and one after. The effects of sharing the love can be both startling and wonderful!

Being grateful is scientifically proven to have seven key benefits:

  1. Gratitude leads to better relationships.  Saying “thank you” is good manners and can also help you make new friends.  Send a quick thank-you note to that co-worker or business associate who helped you with a project or sent you a new client.  Acknowledging other people’s contributions can lead to new opportunities.
  2. Gratitude improves physical health.  It is a scientific fact that grateful people experience fewer aches and pains, often exercise more and are less likely to carry excess weight.  Being kind can help keep you fit and live a longer and more fulfilling life!
  3. Gratitude improves psychological health. Gratitude reduces toxic emotions such as envy, frustration and regret. Gratitude is scientifically proven to increase happiness and reduce depression.
  4. Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression. Grateful people are more likely to behave in a pro-social manner, even when others are less kind to them. They are more sensitive and empathic and are less likely to be revengeful!
  5. Grateful people sleep better. Writing in a gratitude journal improves sleep. Spend a few minutes jotting down some grateful thoughts before bed, and you may sleep better and longer – at peace with the world.
  6. Gratitude improves self-esteem as it reduces the need for social comparisons. Rather than becoming resentful toward people who have more money or better jobs – grateful people are more able to appreciate other people’s accomplishments.
  7. Gratitude increases mental strength. Research has shown that gratitude not only reduces stress, but it can also play a major role in overcoming trauma. Recognising all that you should be thankful for – even during the worst times of your life – fosters resilience.

We all have the ability and opportunity to cultivate gratitude. Simply take a few moments to focus on all that you have – rather than the things you think you deserve.

Say thank you or something kind to those that you come into contact with today – and every day.

Share the love today and make someone’s day!!
