Over the last 10 years, the Conveyancing Foundation has helped those in the property industry raise nearly a million pounds for important causes with the Charity Lotto.
The Foundation has also launched the Be Kind We Care Initiative to promote good mental health and wellbeing within our industry.

The Conveyancing Foundation Charity Lotto helps conveyancers, estate agents and those involved in the property industry to raise money for their chosen charities.
The concept of the Charity Lotto is simple. You choose the charity you want to support, advertise to your clients and collect the £10 entry fee. The lucky winners receive £500 in the monthly prize draw and you donate the entry fee to charity.
We help you set up and run your own Charity Lotto so you can fundraise with every completion.
The Charity Lotto is a simple way of raising thousands of pounds for your chosen charity quickly and easily. It will engage your clients and staff, as well as delivering fantastic CSR results.

We’d been keen to partner with the Conveyancing Foundation for a while but when the Covid pandemic hit we ended up putting it on hold. Then in September last year we heard about the More Than Homes campaign and thought it was the ideal charity for us to support.
Much of our work is for clients buying shared ownership properties through a Housing Association and More Than Homes is supported by the sector. Also, their food banks are nationwide and therefore relevant to all of our offices. We’re hoping our clients join with us in raising money for this worthwhile cause whilst also having a chance to win themselves some money.
The Charity Lotto started with Convey Law back in 2010 and has been integral to our fundraising success. The simple concept has allowed us to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for our partner charities over the last decade.
The Charity Lotto, once established, guarantees significant funds for conveyancers to direct towards their partner charities, with reasonably little effort. The initiative has been embraced fully by our employees who have enjoyed raising large sums of money for the charities they have chosen to support. The competition has helped to develop the very strong CSR culture we enjoy at Convey Law, which in turn also continues to attract new clients and introducers.
We’re delighted to be involved with the Conveyancing Foundation Charity Lotto which our clients regularly comment on as being a great initiative.
We are thankful to them for their eagerness to take part and over these past few years their donations have helped a large number of charities dealing with issues such as homelessness, providing support to victims of domestic abuse, cancer, mental health issues, and support to food banks across Northern Ireland.
We are delighted to partner with the Conveyancing Foundation’s Free Legal Fee scheme.
It’s a great opportunity for our clients to have the opportunity of saving a large slice of their legal fees and in this challenging period more than ever, a great opportunity for our charity of choice, Havens Hospice, to replenish their depleted resources.
How It Works
Client Donation
Your client makes a £10 donation at the end of their property transaction.
They enter the Conveyancing Foundation Charity Lotto.
Prize Draw
Your client enters the monthly prize draw.
The cost of the lottery is £1.00 with each £9.00 donation attracting Gift Aid, making the overall charity donation £11.25.

Winners receive up to £500!

The Conveyancing Foundation is a registered not for profit charity, which has been established by conveyancers to help the property industry, to raise awareness and funds for charity.
Over the years, our Charity Lotto has raised nearly a million pounds for charity and our mission is to encourage others to sign up and raise money for their partner charities.
In 2021, we launched the Be Kind We Care initiative to promote good mental health and wellbeing within the industry whilst also raising funds for mental health charities.
We have partnered with charities LawCare, Agents Together and the Mindstep Foundation to provide resources for business and individuals.
The Be Kind We Care Resource Hub hosts articles, podcasts and webinars aimed at promoting good mental health and wellbeing within the workplace.
